This new release comes with a number of enhancements and bug fixes:

1. A new "Inpatients" module has been added to Schedule area in the system. Your practice manager will need to set up a bed-utilized location and beds in Operations > General in order to use this module. Inpatient encounters are similar to outpatient encounters and allow you to do daily documentation and billing. The billing functions for inpatients are work in progress and will be avaiable for use in the next release.

2. Specific inpatient features are as follows:
- Inpatient beds can be allocated to an inpatient floor plan (location). Multiple beds can be put inside an inpatient room.
- A patient admitted to Inpatients can be assigned a bed or put on the Wait List.
- Providers can be scheduled to take care of patients based on specific beds and periods of time.
- Inpatient encounters are identified using bed icon and stay period and can be closed after patient discharge.
- A new "Medication Administration Record" has been added for recording daily medications taken by the patients.
- Progress note can now be documented daily. When signed, billing can proceed for that day.
- Review of Systems, Physical Exam, Vitals, and Narration & Instruction can be documented as often as needed.

3. A display bug related to some currency symbols has been fixed. The currency symbol is now applied more consistently in Finance > Sales and Finance > Purchases.

4. Outpatient encounters (Appointments, Walk-ins, and Phone) are now closed automatically when the progress notes are signed. Inpatient encounters are closed manually after patient discharges.

5. A new "Custom Forms" section has been added to Contacts > Patients > All Patients. Electronic form templates can be set to display in this section, which is visible when it has at least one electronic form template.

SP1 was released on 2/28/2021 to apply the followings:

6. Scheduling conflict warning messages have been enhanced in Schedule > Apointments and Inpatients. Past appointments and stays are no longer treated as conflicts.

7. Bed assignment and discharge fields are now greyed out if there is no bed assigned to a patient on the Wait List in Schedule > Inpatients.

8. The encounter timer display format for inpatient encounters has been enhanced to accomodate the longer stay hours. For example, ">24 hrs" is now displayed specifically as "1.5 d".

9. The left margin of electronic forms is now displayed with consistent column width in all areas. A printing bug of empty fields has also been fixed.

10. The table field element in Preferences > Tools > Form Templates > Electronic Forms can now have varying column widths. Simply drag and drop a column border to change the column width.

11. Sales invoice, adjustment, and payments now support the daily Superbill documentation in inpatient encounters.

12. A new "Discharge Summary" section has been added to inpatient encounters. It's displayed in lieu of "Visit Summary" in the encounter side menu. Daily visit summaries can be used as reference while the attending provider documents the discharge summary. 

13. The "Visit Summaries" section in the patient portal has been changed to "Visit & Discharge Summaries". 

14. An open encounter is now closed automatically when the outpatient progress note is signed by the scheduled provider or when the inpatient discharge summary is signed by the attending provider. If the scheduled/attending provider is assigned a supervising provider, then the encounter must also be signed off by the supervising provider.

15. The encounter icons for Appointments and Inpatients have been replaced with new ones.

SP2 was released on 3/21/2021 to apply the followings:

16. Item counts have been added to the tab buttons for Appointments, Walk-ins, and Inpatients in Dashboard > Summary > Today's Visits.

17. A facility switch bug affecting the inactivation of a facility in Utilities > System > Multiple Facilities has been fixed.

18. The first draft of UB-04 form is now ready for use in Encounter > Superbill.

19. A data display bug in Encounter > Narration & Instruction and a signature display bug in Visit Summary's order printing have been fixed.

20. Several third-party databases have been updated to the latest versions:
- Drug Products, Packages, Ingredients, Interactions, and NDC-RxNorm Map
- Education Links
- SNOMED to ICD-10 Map
- OfficeAlly Payer List
