# Version 4.0 Released (October 2020) Views: 1743

This new release comes with a number of enhancements and bug fixes:

1. Walk-in section has been moved to inside of Schedule. Rooms and Reminders are now found in Schedule > Appointments page.

2. A new "Ancillaries" section has been added to the system menu, which is for managing in-house lab, radiology, prescription, immunization, procedure, and retail orders. The inventories and supplies used in these areas can also be documented and tracked. Read the User Guide in Help to learn more about this new feature. Some user role adjustments may be needed for your staff users.

3. The system startup view in Preferences > Account (and Operations > Access > User Accounts) can now be defaulted to a specific menu tab, e.g. Schedule > Walk-in, Exchange > Faxes, etc.

4. A free and paid licensing scheme has been implemented. The system can be used by 10 active users for free. Additional users will need to purchase a package license. Click Startup at the top of this page for pricing information.

5. A signature printing bug in Encounter > Referrals has been fixed.

6. Some display errors found in Encounter > Vitals when using metric scale have been fixed. The layout has also been enhanced with "Add" and "Delete" icons.

7. The patient portal login page can now be embedded in an iframe without the page header and footer. These two sections will not display if you do not put in any header and footer information in Utilities > System > Patient Portal Login. 

8. Data backup in Utilities > System has been updated to include new data tables used in Ancillaries.

9. Any credit card number entered in the patient portal can now be used by staff to charge for various payments. The credit card number is not stored by Solismed and is only linked to Stripe merchant service via their API.

SP1 was released on 11/14/2020 to apply the followings:

10. Several useful features have been added to Finance > Purchases:
- Vendor/Supplier contacts from Contacts > Address Book are now linked to the Contact field in all purchase areas.
- Item fields are now linked to existing inventories and supplies in Ancillaries to allow quick reordering.
- "Receiving" and "Return" sections have been added and synced with the lot count and purchase history in Ancillaries.
- New items can now be allocated to the inventories and supplies in Ancillaries when they are marked as received.

11. The side menu in Finance > Sales has been enhanced:
- Bill Summaries grid is no longer displayed. Instead, a Bill Summary link is shown inside the sales listings besides Invoice, Adjustment, and Payment menu buttons.
- Insurance Billings grid has been added for tracking sales listings with billing progress statuses marked as Claim Submitted, Claim Rejected, Claim Resubmitted, and Claim Paid.
- Patient Billings grid has been added for tracking sales listings with Patient Billed and Patient Paid statuses.

12. The inventories in Ancillaries, namely Pharmacy Inventories, Vaccine Intentories, and Retail Inventories are now synced with Prescription List, Vaccine List, and Retail List in Operations > Clinical. Any change made in the inventories will trigger automatic update in the lists.

13. Immunization orders have been enhanced to allow the administration of multiple doses over a period of time. A new "Vaccination History" section has also been added to Histories in the encounter and medical record.

14. The "Reorder" button displayed in Contacts > Patients > All Patients > Medical Record is now hidden. This change affects Labs, Radiology, Immunization, Procedures, and Retails. All orders must be done in the encounters because of Finance > Sales integration and application.

15. Multi-facility functions have been enhanced in Utilities > System. All corresponding user accounts will be changed to Inactive/Deleted if a facility is set to Inactive/Deleted. A deleted facility is hidden from view but its data remains in the database.  

16. Several minor issues related to grid display in the system have been addressed:
- Add and Delete are now displayed in greyout format when the encounter is closed (same as older versions).
- An error message now displays if no grid item has been selected for deletion.
- Duplicate side menu display in Dashboard > Summary > Today's Visits under certain condition has been fixed.

17. Deprecated each() code function used in system installation has been removed to avoid triggering the warning message.

18. The "From" field in Exchange > Faxes is now sycned with Contacts > Address Book; the contact name and fax number will be displayed if the fax received matches the contact's fax number.

19. The cash discount field format has been changed from 1 to 0 decimal point. The change affects Ancillaries > Various Inventoris, Finance > Sales, Finance > Purchases, and Operations > Clinical.
