# Version 3.9 Released (August 2020) Views: 1785

This new release comes with a number of enhancements and bug fixes:

1. Appointment requests can now be done online by the patients via the patient portal:
- Any required deposit payment can be set up in Operations > General > Appointment Types for each appointment type.
- The deposit payment is done using credit card and requires Stripe merchant service. Paypal cannot be used at this time.
- Appointment requests can be auto approved by setting up auto approval in Operations > General > Appointment Types.
- Manual approvals for appointment requests are done in Dashboard > Summary > Appointment Requests.
- Access to Dashboard > Summary > Appointment Requests is managed in Operations > Access > User Roles.
- A confirmed appointment can be canceled or rescheduled by the patient directly via the patient portal.
- Scheduled providers are notified by messages and emails when their appointments are canceled or rescheduled.

2. The grid display of appointments and encounters in Dashboard > Summary, Walk-in, and patient chart have been enhanced for those with visit status marked as "Canceled", "No Show", or "Left/Not Seen":
- The encounter status now displays "Voided" for these three visit statuses.
- When an encounter is closed, these three visit statuses no longer change to "Billing Started" automatically.
- These three visit statuses are now displayed in red in Patient Header > Appointments and Medical Record > Past Visits.

3. If the default country is not set to "United States" in Utilities > System > Common Settings, then the insurance clearninghouse settings found on the same page are now hidden. The [View CMS1500 Form] button in Encounter > Superbill does not display as well. Both features are only used in the US.

4. The work address fields in Operations > Access > User Accounts and Preferences > Account > User Settings have been replaced with one simple "Home Address" field. Each user account is already linked to a default work location and address, so there is no need to put in the work address again. The "Home Address" is more useful.

5. Staff signature required by an electronic form can now be inserted automatically by uploading a signature image to Preferences > Account > User Settings. This signature image is the same one used in Encounter > Progress Note, Exchange > Letters, and anywhere else where an electronic signature is needed.

6. Completed electronic forms that have not been reviewed are now displayed in Dashboard > Summary > Open Documents. You can also go to Dashboard > Forms > Electronic Forms to do the review just like before. Once reviewed, they appear in Patient Header > Documents just like before.

SP1 was released on 9/8/2020 to apply the followings:

7. Radio and checkbox options display alignment in electronic forms has been adjusted in Preferences > Tools > Form Templates, Dashboard > Forms, and Patient Portal > Online Forms.

8. Order printing errors in the encounter caused by the removal of  work address fields in User Accounts has been fixed.

SP2 was released on 9/30/2020 to apply the followings:

9. A deletion bug in health maintenance reminders has been fixed.

10. The data field widths displayed in iPad have been adjusted to avoid layout issue in some areas of the system.

11. ICD-10 database is now the 2021 version. All US users should start using this version on October 1.

12. The default work location for the rendering provider has been updated in X12 file.

13. Inactive "Add" and "Delete" icons are now hidden (instead of greyed out) in all grid displays.
