We have designed this browser-based system to be intuitive and user friendly. For example, clicking in the row of a grid will present you with the details of a record. As another example, the use of pop-ups is minimized to give you a more pleasant user experience. There are many other features available to help you become more efficient and productive.
Depending on your business needs, you can choose to install the system on the Web or a desktop computer. The Web version requires the use of a domain name (e.g. www.mysite.com) and hosting services, while the desktop version can be used on any computer with a Windows OS. Generally speaking, the Web version is better for the following reasons:
1. Multiple users can use the system with ease; they can log in from anywhere and at any time.
2.Your patient users can access their medical records online and perform other tasks as available in the patient portal.
3. You can use a hosting service provider to help meet many of the HIPAA requirements instead of trying to do everything by yourself.
4. You don’t need to back up the database and files manually because the process can be done automatically by the hosting service provider.
5. It will be easier for any support person to troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance the use of the system.
